Why we are here

The purpose of this life is to learn good from evil.

Good and evil are both real. One is the creation of God; the other grows wherever we refuse His way. This earth is a school for discernment — so that, by experience and by witness, we learn to choose the good.

The lesson of mortality

Learning the difference is the work of a lifetime.

We live among competing voices. Some lift us toward truth; others resist it. That friction is not a mistake — it is part of how we come to know what is good.

“The purpose of our life here is to learn the difference between good and evil. All things work for our good, but many things are evil.”

We each make choices every moment — beginning with what we think. Choosing what blesses others is love. Choosing ourselves at others’ expense is evil. Both paths reinforce themselves. This site exists to help you face that truth plainly, then take a next step if you want one.

A short biography

About Treyeshua

Portrait of Treyeshua

My legal name is Thomas Joseph Tomeny III. I have always been called Trey for being the third in that line of names. Jesus was called, in His native Aramaic, Yeshua. In early 2017, after a sacred encounter with Jesus, He proclaimed my new name to be Treyeshua — a name unique in the world.

The greatest thing that ever happened to me was on January 26, 2017, when I was truly born again in Jesus by receiving the baptism of fire and the Holy Ghost. For three minutes — from 1:57 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. — I felt the fire of God burn through my body from head to toe, transforming me into a new creation.

I am working to be as Jesus. I am an eternal missionary, representing no particular religion — only the Jesus whom I love and know loves me. My in-person mission field is around my home in Orem, Utah; online I serve as Be as Jesus on X (@treyeshua) and at treyeshua.com.
